El duelo en contextos de violencia. Aportes desde el psicoanálisis y la perspectiva transcultural

Resumen

Este artículo de reflexión es producto de las discusiones que se realizaron en el grupo de estudio Psicoanálisis  y  violencia,  de  la  Fundación  Univer-sitaria  Católica  Lumen  Gentium,  en  el  primer  se-mestre del 2016. Se indagó acerca del duelo en cir-cunstancias de violencia, debido a las dimensiones que  tiene  este  fenómeno  en  Colombia,  y,  también,  por  el  reto  que  supone  -a  los  psicólogos  y  a  otros  terapeutas- el abordaje clínico de personas que han padecido tal situación. En este texto, están compen-diadas algunas de las conclusiones de dichas discu-siones.  Comprender  este  proceso,  sus  avatares,  así  como sus posibilidades de recuperación, es el prin-cipal  objetivo  de  este  artículo.  Para  ello,  se  hizo  la  revisión y discusión de obras clásicas y de artículos e investigaciones contemporáneos.

Abstract

This reflective article is a product of the dis-cussions  that  were  conducted  in  the  study  group  “Psychoanalysis  and  violence”,  of  the  Fundación  Universitaria  Católica  Lumen  Gentium,  in  the  first  semester of 2016. It raises questions about grief in cir-cumstances of violence, and the dimensions that this phenomenon  has  in  Colombia,  and  the  challenges  this  raises  for  psychologists  and  other  therapists  in  their clinical approach toward people who have suf-fered  such  a  situation.  In  this  text  are  summarized  some  of  the  conclusions  of  these  discussions.  The  main purpose of this article is to understand this pro-cess, its manifestations, as well as the path to recov-ery.  To  do  so,  we’ve  reviewed  and  discussed  a  body  of classic research, as well as other articles and more contemporary research stemming from the «psycho-analysis  and  violence»  study  group  at  the  Catholic  University  in  Colombia.  The  clinical  experiences  in  contexts of violence, both at a national and interna-tional level, which were led by this article’s main au-thor, were also used as an inputs.
