Abstract

This article is part of the presentation presented within the framework of the IX Congress on Teaching Ethics in the thematic axis of Education and Democracy, as part of the research project entitled “Recognition of the place of ethics in its various dimensions: general, applied, of research, bioethics and scientific integrity, to promote an institutional culture based on it and its permanent challenges. Phase II”, which has as one of its objectives, to prepare the master document that allows the creation of the Center for Applied Ethics (CEA) as an interdisciplinary work unit to support the institutional substantive functions based on the promotion of teaching. and research in the field of ethics at an institutional level, for this, the research uses documentary analysis and
the interpretive hermeneutic method that makes it possible to find aspects and elements of the teaching of philosophical ethics,, which allows students to interact, a philosophical dialogue that strengthens the development of critical thinking that, although it is built collectively, has an impact individual favoring character, personality and decision-making subjective that are extrapolated to
the field of objectivity, that is, the influence of the teaching of philosophical ethics is decisive in the formation of identity and the exercise of citizenship.
